Tom Vrolijk (The Hague, 7 November 1992) is a singer and songwriter currently living in Delft. With a romantic spirit that derives from the 19th century and a sound inspired by faded voices from the 60s and 70s Tom Vrolijk lets the audience experience the purest and most original songs in a quite pure and rather original way.
Variaty in the set is key to every performance. It ranges from soft ballads to grooving rock 'n roll and from psychedelic rock to theatrical drama. So the music is suitable for both listeners and dancers, and for both watchers and romancers; and there are even some nice sing-alongs put into practice. Omkardi Omkarda Da or whatever lyric you want it to be.
Another key component is the energy that sprinkles in every hall. Almost a certain highness breathing in the atmosphere every show. Something you will only experience live. So check this site for tourdates and be a part of history.
The Lucky Spares are:
Daniel "Lito" Levenbach: Bass
Dylan Siemerink: Drums
Steven Gerkes: Guitar
Without the Lucky Spares Tom would be just Tom Vrolijk.

With a romantic spirit that derives from the 19th century and a sound inspired by faded voices from the sixties and seventies Tom Vrolijk lets the audience experience the purest and most original songs in a quite pure and rather original way. The music is despite its original nature still very easy to listen to; not to be mistaken for easy listening music though. “Music and human beings have a particular thing in common besides the ability to touch: Neither of them should be labelled or categorized, but are anyway. My creations would probably be called Poprock, Folkrock or Rock ‘n Roll. These indications are only useful for those who never have heard me play before. But it doesn’t mean anything after that. I’ll gladly invite everyone to come and have a listen to my music.” With his clean voice and high vocal range Tom likes to variate a lot between peaceful ballads and wilder Rock ‘n Roll. Besides the possibility to visit a gig or concert, you can buy the album “Tom Vrolijk & The Lucky Spares” which was recorded in the late summer of 2016 in Paf! Studios at Rotterdam and will be released on 10 February 2017 in Steck at Delft.
